The world’s first pop-up mall, Boxpark is a beautifully simple concept. Working with land that is earmarked for later development, the otherwise unused space becomes a thriving retail area, consisting of a multitude of brands – both known and unknown.

Temporary by nature, shops in Boxpark are more energetic and experimental than your average retail store. The beauty is the concept itself. The restrictions that the shipping containers pose on their occupiers make for innovative takes on retail design.

Simple and industrial in spirit, Boxpark’s brand identity is designed to sit above all the resident brands, without diluting or neutralising their individual voices.

We worked with the Boxpark team for nearly three
years – from the project’s inception through to its launch,
and then on to the concepts for their next site.
